In this workshop you will become familiar with journaling and reflecting on your life story. Because your words are for your eyes only, creative writing experience is not necessary. We will learn and apply basic journaling techniques.

Landscape Sketching with Pencils and Watercolours: Study the shapes, colours and light of the landscape while reviewing the basic principles of watercolour painting. Learn to paint convincing trees, skies and waters. Some experience required. Supply list will be available.

Discover the Art of Scrimshaw
This workshop is an introduction to a truly American art form--design on bone. Participants will be shown how to engrave a design on a piece of polished bone, fill with pigment and buff off the final piece. Attach a cord and proudly display your own finished original pendant. No experience required. If you can trace, then you will be able to do scrimshaw. Join the fun and rediscover creative art form.

Do you know the difference between a snapshot and a photograph? Learn universal photography compositional rules and technical tips to help you make stunning pictures. Participants must be very familiar with their camera’s features and know how to access them.
